What is identity verification and how does Welnys use it?

Before we approve you as a provider with Welnys, we will ask you to go through an identity verification process. We will email you a link to complete the process. 
Identity verification is a process we use to keep our marketplace safe. It allows us, and our customers, to know you are who you say you are. It also prevents people from impersonating you and creating content under your name.

What do I have to do?
  1. You will be asked to take a picture of an identification document (driver's license, passport or ID card)
  2. You will be asked to take a selfie to match your face to the document
  3. You will need to input the last four digits of your social
Your information is then cross checked with various global databases. The entire approval process takes just minutes. 

We use Stripe to handle the entire process, end-to-end. Stripe handles billions of transactions for companies like Uber. You can review their privacy policy here.
