Session Length Best Practice:
Massage events that are 5.5 hours or less can be 10 or 15 minute sessions, but for events that are longer than 6 hours it is recommended that the sessions be 15 mins each to allow for therapist pacing and recovery between clients. In the case of 10 minute sessions for 6 hours or longer, it is recommended that two therapists are contracted. Keep in mind that the massage session timing is inclusive of a 1-2 minute sanitize and reset time between clients.
Break Policy:
Less than 3 hours: no break
3- 4.5 hours: one 10-15 minute break
4.5-6 hours: one 30 minute break
over 6- 8 hours: one 60 minute break
No provider can work more than 8 hours/shift
