Welnys has been acquired

Hello,

I am pleased to announce that as of May 15, 2022, Welnys was acquired by garten, a technology company founded in 2014 that delivers healthy food and workplace wellbeing services to startups and Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries.

In 2016, I founded Welnys because I saw that corporate wellness programs needed to be implemented and managed across multiple locations seamlessly, as well as be accessible to vetted, high-quality vendors. Garten was founded for similar reasons, initially focusing on employee wellbeing through nutrition and now using technology to impact well-being globally.

The synergies of combining two companies that care deeply about employees' access to wellness and making it seamless for HR professionals and office managers to provide such services are evident. Our shared values have been the cornerstone of the multi-year partnership our two companies have already shared.

I decided to enter into an acquisition because I believe a larger company like garten will allow us to provide a more comprehensive range of wellbeing services and scale more effectively. It was also crucial that an acquirer cared about Welnys' employees. The entire Welnys team has joined garten and continues to work on the products you know and love, only now with more support, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.

We are excited about the many more products and services we will be able to offer you in the future. But rest assured, at this time, there is no change to how you work with us; the only thing changing is our name and contact information.

Please update our contact information as follows:

New mailing address: 548 Market Street, PMB 60158, San Francisco, CA 94104
New phone number: 650.389.9839
New email addresses: [first name].[last name]@garten.co

Our current address, phone numbers, and emails will be operational for the time being, although we anticipate consolidating as soon as possible.

Currently, we are working through the transition and are eager to share more exciting news about how this acquisition will be beneficial to you and your employees.

We are grateful for the opportunity to provide wellness services to you and for your loyalty and feedback that has helped make Welnys a better company over the years. We look forward to introducing you to our new partners, whose relationship will be equally rewarding.

Be well,

Heather Waibel and the Welnys team: Savannah Scott and Gizelle Erickson
