Can I watch this on my TV?
It is possible to use a TV browser to watch Welnys TV, but there can be potential playback issues. For this reason, we do not recommend or guarantee that video playback will work in a TV browser. Instead, we recommend using ChromeCast or AirPlay to watch videos on a TV.
If you do not have the option for Chromecast or Airplay, you can still watch your videos on your TV by directly connecting your laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable.
To connect a laptop to a TV with an HDMI cable:
While viewing videos on Welnys TV, you have the option to set the video quality. If you are having playback/quality issues, you may need to adjust the video quality selected to improve your experience. Here is how you do it:
NOTE: if you are using Safari (iOS), you will not be able to change the video quality manually. The stream is played through Safari Native Player, which does not support Media Source Extension (MSE). This means that HLS playback itself is handled directly by Safari.
How do I turn off the auto play feature?
By default, autoplay will be turned on for videos and collections. You can elect to turn off autoplay by using the autoplay toggle under the video player. This is especially useful for videos that end in a quiet or reflective state (examples: meditation or yoga). The autoplay setting selection will remain this way until their browser cache has been cleared.
Can I change the playback speed?
While viewing videos on Welnys TV, you have the option to select the video speed. You can select from 0.5x, 0.75x, Normal, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, or 2x.
